
What use to be TechTV, an amazing network geared towards techies, was bought out by G4TV in 2002. Hoping to cater towards the MTV’s demographics and to appeal to the gamer, techie, and “geek” in general, started out to do an amazing job. With awesome programming like Cinematech, Cheat!, Judgment Day, and Electric Playground, G4 was to channel to watch if you are into that culture.
Since then, G4TV has drastically changed, from its leadership, layoffs and cut-backs, to its formatting change. Now G4TV has become a cesspool of trash TV showing nonstop episodes of Cops, Cheaters (not to be confused with Cheat!) and Ninja Warrior Marathons. Continue reading
